Barry-Wehmiller provides a two day seminar where participants learn how to be better listeners, and therefor leaders. The strategies that are put into practice give the participants the ability to empower others through the skill of empathetic listening, deliver clear, easily received feedback, build and preserve relationships through effective communication skills, learn recognition and celebration practices to encourage positive behaviors, and increase self-awareness through the feedback of others. After Martin’s involvement with Barry-Wehmiller in 2015, the effects of the classes were evident. Martin Engineering greatly benefited from the lessons learned over the course of these classes and not only implemented them, but developed our own Listen Like A Leader series.
