Employee Spotlights

Chelsea Blake has been with Martin Engineering for almost 10 years and is a Marketing Specialist who focuses on content creation. She tells us more about herself here:

"I keep more than busy outside of work with my three boys (Easton - 7, Jase - 5, Colt - 1) and their activities. When the weather is warm, most of my time is spent at the ballpark⚾️. My family and I live in rural Neponset, and I enjoy the small-town, country life. It is fun to see my boys grow up on my husband's family farm and how they LOVE taking care of their dogs, pigs, chickens, and cows. I really like working in Marketing at Martin - we have a fun, family-oriented environment with great cohesion - making coming to work every day enjoyable. #boymom #outnumbered"

Andrea tells us a little bit about herself here: "I have been with Martin Engineering for almost 5 years. I started with Martin as the Foundations™ Development Specialist and joined the Marketing Department in August 2017. I live in Annawan, IL with my husband, Jason, and two kids. We have a daughter, Harper, who is 3 years old and a son, Hayes, who is 1 year old. We also have a 6 year old Golden Retriever named Briggsy. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and going for walks. I love working at Martin Engineering because I enjoy the people I work with and look forward to coming to work everyday."

Seth Mercer has been with Martin Engineering for 13 years. He is the Marketing Manager for the US business unit and tells a bit more about himself here:

"At home, I have my wife Nichole, who actively volunteers her time and energy with many community organizations, and two kids, Owen, a future Martin Motioneer and electronics engineer, and Chloe, a budding artist and author who loves animals. I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, being outdoors, traveling, woodworking, and rooting for the Chicago Cubs. I'm also a member of my hometown volunteer fire department.

At Martin I enjoy working with my teammates to continuously elevate our marketing strategy and execution to help drive sales and solidify our brand's place at the top of our industry. Our marketing department shares a fantastic relationship and atmosphere that makes them feel like a second family and makes coming to work something I truly look forward to every single day. I also serve as a mentor for our FIRST Robotics team, Martin Motion Team 6237, and greatly enjoy the opportunity to work with area high school students and help them explore different aspects of business as potential career interests. I very much appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with people from all over the world and to have the chance to travel near and far, visiting unique places and meeting new people."
