LISTEN LIKE A LEADER
 
BARRY-WEHMILLER
Barry-Wehmiller provides a two day seminar where participants learn how to be better listeners, and therefor leaders. The strategies that are put into practice give the participants the ability to empower others through the skill of empathetic listening, deliver clear, easily received feedback, build and preserve relationships through effective communication skills, learn recognition and celebration practices to encourage positive behaviors, and increase self-awareness through the feedback of others. After Martin’s involvement with Barry-Wehmiller in 2015, the effects of the classes were evident. Martin Engineering greatly benefited from the lessons learned over the course of these classes and not only implemented them, but developed our own Listen Like A Leader series.

 

 
MARTIN ADAPTATION
Martin has taken what we’ve learned from Barry-Wehmiller and developed our own Listen Like A Leader courses. These classes, hosted at Martin Engineering, are 3 days long and include both U.S. and global participants. These classes are administered by Martin employees, to Martin employees. By perpetuating the tools used by Barry-Wehmiller, we are able to better grow our culture through more effective listening and development of more meaningful relationships.
