THE 6 WAYS TO ACHIEVE OUR BEST DAY

Collaboration of twenty-three Martin Engineering employees not only produced SUCCESS as our value foundation, it also yielded the method for having the best day possible. By using six different concepts, we are able to live up to our Why statement and be the best we can be for ourselves and the communities around us. The components of a perfect day and how to achieve one are the six following methods:

Transform Opportunity into Action

Convert our great ideas into a reality, which is the foundation of our company. Continue to question why things are done the way they are and don't be afraid to challenge the status quo and drive change.

Assume Positive Intent

Choose to assume that our coworkers are operating to the best of their ability, and are acting with the best interest of the company and their colleagues in mind.

Listen to Understand

Truly listen to others without being distracted by your own chatter. The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand, we listen to reply.

Laugh Often

Laughter is never lost in translation, it reinforces that we are Martin family.

Embrace the Suck

You can't learn from mistakes you don't make. You can help that we don't repeat the mistake by speaking up to create the opportunity for everyone to learn from your experience...sometimes the lesson learned is greater from what you do wrong than what you do right.

We are Better Together

Break down silos between buildings, divisions, and time zones as we are one Martin family and we could never be as good alone as we are together.
